As many of you know my husband and I have been displaying our window paintings at the Sweetwater Festival, in Candler Park, for the past few years. We LOVE attending the festival, it has many local artists and TONS of GREAT live music!! The theme for all of the artists has always been recycled art because the festival always falls around earth day. Here are three of the windows we will be displaying this year. I used different things I found over the year, one thing in the road in Boonville, Missouri, another in the woods on a walk in my neighborhood. The windows came from many places and have probably seen more life than any of us can imagine.....just a thought ☺
This one is a remake of one I made last year that I didn't get a picture of. The other one had a deeper purple in the background. I like the way this one turned out!!
I started painting 4 windows a few weekends ago and I finished this one. The 3 others are almost complete. I thought I would share this one with you, as it is a remake of one I did last year. I didn't get a photo of it because it SOLD at the festival ☺ I used the same gear thingy I found on my walk last year and a nut halve that I found while camping. I stamped them in some acrylic paint and went to work painting.
I will post the other windows when they are finished, hope you have a great weekend!!!
