Yard Art Repaint

I was hanging out at my friends pool for the day and I noticed this cute little sign that was stuck into a plant.  I had a bit of a time trying to see what it once looked like before the sun had faded it, so I asked him if I could take it home and repaint it back to it's original glory, he said please!!!  So, here it is before I painted it and after I glued down the flap on the back of one of the pieces with some wood glue.

Then I painted it...

I thought it looked GREAT and so alive with color again ☼

Here it is finished, but my friend requested it to be white~washed,  so reluctantly I did...

I think it turned out looking much better than it did before,  what do you think?
